De Lorenzo has always invested in the design of power supply modules to satisfy different types of customers and therefore, for a particular product such as TIME (available in Electronics, Biomedical, Autotronics, and Telecommunications Laboratories), De Lorenzo has produced a multipurpose module that has the possibility of having a complete workstation, both in hardware and in software, without the need of external equipment.
The power supply DL 3155AL3, with protection against overvoltage or short-circuit, has been designed for this purpose with powerful virtual instrumentation including multimeter, function generator, oscilloscope with FFT calculation, logic wave analyzer, and digital pattern generator with the possibility of analyzing the spectrum and the Bode diagram. It has available connectivity to PC through USB, Bluetooth or WLAN.
The end user also has the possibility to choose another cheaper version (DL 3155AL2) without the virtual instrumentation always having the same features concerning the PC’s connectivity. With both types, it can be possible to perform learning activities (theoretical, practical, and faults insertion) through the Student Navigator Software (DL NAV) with an interface to the Laboratory Management Software (DL LAB) allowing the teacher to move and to control among a huge number of students per class, with lessons assignment, faults insertion, message exchanging, and of course results evaluation with exporting in ASCII format for any in-depth analysis and study.
