The Training of Trainers (ToT) program in Renewable Energy<\/a><\/span>\u2014Solar and Wind\u2014organized by De Lorenzo Academy (DL Academy) in collaboration with the Instituto Federal de S\u00e3o Paulo (IFSP), Brazil. In August 2025, five instructors from the Instituto Nacional de Petr\u00f3leos (INP), Angola, travelled to S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil, to participate in this specialized four-week training. Their participation was directly connected to the recent acquisition of De Lorenzo Renewable Energy equipment by INP and aimed at ensuring the institution could fully and effectively benefit from the new laboratory systems.<\/p>\n

The program, totalling 120 hours, combined theoretical sessions with extensive practical activities. Throughout the course, the Angolan instructors were guided through the fundamental principles of photovoltaic and wind energy, system components, safety procedures, installation techniques, and laboratory practices using De Lorenzo training equipment. A key element of the program was its strong hands-on approach, allowing participants to carry out real installation exercises, perform system testing, and engage directly with the equipment.
\nDuring their stay in Brazil, the instructors also visited Intersolar S\u00e3o Paulo 2025, one of the most important solar energy exhibitions in Latin America. This experience offered valuable insight into current technologies, market trends, and innovative solutions that can support the development of renewable energy initiatives in Angola.<\/p>\n

The training was delivered by an experienced team of IFSP professors under the academic and pedagogical supervision of DL Academy<\/span><\/a>. All participants received comprehensive printed and digital materials to support continued learning after their return to Angola.<\/p>\n

This initiative proved highly successful and demonstrated the effectiveness of the cooperation between De Lorenzo Academy, IFSP, and INP. The experience highlighted the importance of aligning the training with institutional needs, the value of practical learning, and the potential for extending future collaboration to additional technical fields.
