{"id":986,"date":"2024-04-08T16:52:18","date_gmt":"2024-04-08T14:52:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/delorenzoglobal.com\/?post_type=product&#038;p=986"},"modified":"2026-05-06T15:23:03","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T13:23:03","slug":"computer-integrated-manufacturing-trainer-terminals-block","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/delorenzoglobal.com\/en\/product\/computer-integrated-manufacturing-trainer-terminals-block\/","title":{"rendered":"COMPUTER INTEGRATED MANUFACTURING TRAINER &#8211; TERMINALS BLOCK"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CIM (computer integrated manufacturing) is a manufacturing method, in which the entire production process is controlled by computer.<\/p>\n<p>This manufacturing method includes transversal applications in several didactic areas such as automation, pneumatics, electronics, mechatronics and process control.<\/p>\n<p>De Lorenzo has developed station-based training systems, which allow the student to view a specific manufacturing process of an industrial production line.<\/p>\n<p>The trainer is a closed- loop control system based on PLC that exchanges information collected from sensors.<\/p>\n<p>The version DL CIM-A integrates Belt conveyer, Linear Transfer, and Pick and Place units.<\/p>\n<p>The DL CIM-A trainer is available in two versions depending on the PLC integrated in the system:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0DL CIM-A_1200 with Siemens PLC (S7-1200 series, CPU 1214C)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0DL CIM-A_AB with Allen Bradley PLC CPU 2080-LC30-16QWB<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Expansion module 2080-IQ4OB4<\/p>\n<p>A third version is also available which adds an HMI and SCADA software to the DL CIM-A with PLC Siemens:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0DL CIM-AS_7INCH with 7 inch HMI<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0DL CIM-AS_10INCH with 10 inch HMI<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The CIM system is also available with an open terminal block instead of the PLC.<\/p>\n<p>This version allows the connection of an external controller through the 2mm terminals.<\/p>\n<p>For the correct operation of the system, it is recommended to use a PLC with similar or improved characteristics (INPUT\/OUTPUT) as the ones provided with our standard versions (see previous notes).<\/p>\n<p>Order code: DL CIM-AT<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CIM (computer integrated manufacturing) is a manufacturing method, in which the entire production process is controlled by computer.
