{"id":9105,"date":"2024-04-17T12:12:29","date_gmt":"2024-04-17T10:12:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/delorenzoglobal.com\/?post_type=product&#038;p=9105"},"modified":"2025-01-29T12:18:33","modified_gmt":"2025-01-29T11:18:33","slug":"common-rail-direct-injection-for-diesel-engine","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/delorenzoglobal.com\/en\/product\/common-rail-direct-injection-for-diesel-engine\/","title":{"rendered":"COMMON RAIL DIRECT INJECTION FOR DIESEL ENGINE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This simulator allows the study, the testing and the troubleshooting on HDI (CDI &#8211; CR) injection systems for diesel engines.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly to \u00a0what happens for the traditional injection petrol engines, where, the pressure of the fuel is only few bars, the HDI injection system uses a high pressure (up to 1500 bar) electric pump and a single manifold (common rail) to connect the pump to the electro-injectors.<\/p>\n<p>These are electronically and individually controlled for what concerns the start and the duration of the injection.<\/p>\n<p>In the conventional diesel engine, the rotation speed of the engine controls the pressure to the injectors and, furthermore, pressure and injection are strictly correlated, because only when the pressure exceeds a given threshold there is the mechanical opening of the injector.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the advantages of the common rail are rather evident:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High pressure also at low regimes;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent atomization and dispersion of the fuel;<\/li>\n<li>Increase of the torque;<\/li>\n<li>Reduction of the noise;<\/li>\n<li>Reduction of the consumptions and of the emissions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This simulator allows the study, the testing and the troubleshooting on HDI (CDI &#8211; CR) injection systems for diesel engines.
