Their different attributes dictate how they are used in different applications, according to the type of input and output power: AC-DC, AC to AC, DC to DC, or DC to AC. This technology can be found in a wide range of settings impacting everyday life, from consumer electronics, industrial applications, transportation, telecommunications, to space technology.
