In the factories of the future, the digitalization of information, combined with high performance hardware, allows the implementation of more flexible and optimized production architectures. The level of innovation is such that today Industry 4.0 is synonymous with smart manufacturing. The student is required to know the processes of the integral management of information, by means of the use of digital technology. De Lorenzo creates a collaborative environment to study the concepts related to Industry 4.0, integrating subsystems normally found in a production plant. The trainer is composed of a set of electronic boards and simulator to study different subsystems that can be found on a real production line. Students will be able to do practical work covering topics from the introduction to automation and robotics, communication protocols (IOT), sensors and actuators to a complete study of a production process. De Lorenzo’s didactic systems for the study of Industry 4.0 are an answer for the development of these new competences that the new industry requires, that is why, with our equipment, students will learn, theoretically and experimentally, the didactic objectives proposed in their study programs.
