HOME AUTOMATION

This educational system is a complete laboratory for the study of the home automation technology. It has been developed to show the improvements that have been added during the recent years to reach higher safety, to live more comfortably, and to better perform the jobs and the activities among others such as in offices, schools, hotels, shops, factories. The modules integrate industrial components and their peculiarity is the compatibility with different components produced by the main manufacturers in this field. The functionality of the whole system is based on a specific software and each module holds an intelligent device that contains all the information/instructions for its operation using a bus technology. The main laboratory EIB TOT (Total configuration) include all the modules but the end user can choose sub-laboratories according to his need and the topic to deepen such as EIB LP (Lighting plant), EIB SCP (Shutter control plant), EIB SP (Safety plant), EIB HAP (Heating/Air conditioning plant), EIB SM (Scenery), EIB PTT (Plant with PLC, HMI and Time switch); the latter includes special modules such as PLC and HMI common in many other disciplines
