TESTING  TECHNICIAN

De Lorenzo S.p.A., a leading Italian company and one of the world’s foremost manufacturers in the design, development, and production of educational equipment for technical and vocational training, is seeking a TESTING  TECHNICIAN for its headquarters in Rozzano (Milan).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the testing, inspection, and calibration of equipment produced both internally and externally. They will identify and troubleshoot issues affecting the operation of electronic and electromechanical circuits, with particular emphasis on electrical safety compliance and CE marking requirements. The candidate will also be expected to propose technical and functional improvements to enhance product performance and reliability.

The role includes installing firmware associated with the equipment and providing technical support to both internal and external production teams. The candidate will be responsible for preparing testing reports and maintaining related documentation and updates.

In addition, the candidate will support customers in resolving technical issues related to marketed equipment and will manage specific activities within the testing department according to assigned priorities.Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of analog and digital electrical and electronic circuits; experience in telecommunications electronics is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics, identify replacement components, and understand their functions within the system.
  • Strong team-working attitude and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in the operation and calibration of primary and secondary testing instruments and equipment.
  • Availability for international travel.

Preferred Qualifications
Residence within 20-30 km of the company headquarters in Rozzano (South Milan).
Good knowledge of CAD software.
Experience in programming programmable devices (PICs, microprocessors, etc.).

Educational Requirements
Technical Diploma in Electronics (Electronics Technician) or a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
