ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL DESIGNER

De Lorenzo SPA, a leading Italian company and one of the world’s top manufacturers in the design, development, and production of educational equipment for technical and vocational training, is looking for its headquarters in Rozzano (South of Milan):

The candidate will be responsible for drafting carpentry drawings and wiring diagrams of electromechanical equipment, mechanical and electrical design drawings and their updates.
He/she will collaborate with the Technical Director in the drafting of the layout and production documentation of electromechanical equipment and the construction of the prototype in collaboration with the designer.
He/she will collaborate in the industrialization of new products through the construction of lists of materials and will support suppliers in mechanical processing and in the supply of electrical components.
He/she will provide technical assistance to production (internal and external) in the problems of assembling and wiring components.

The following are required:

Thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawing and design
Knowledge of AUTOCAD (2D/3D) for mechanical and electrical drawings
Good knowledge of electrical safety regulations and use of CEI symbology
At least 3/4 years’ experience as a draftsman in small/medium-sized technical offices.
Good knowledge of the English language (both spoken and written)
Good interpersonal skills
Knowledge of the main mechanical processing technologies and basic electrical components
B driving licence
Availability for national and international travel

Preferred qualifications:
Residence within 20/30 km from the workplace – ROZZANO (MI).

Education required:
Diploma or Technical Degree
Diploma in Electronic and Mechanical Engineering
Degree in Engineering

Full-time contract on-site.
Classification and salary in line with experience (CCNL Metalworkers)
