Electronics

The design and construction of electronic circuits to solve practical problems is an essential technique in the fields of electronic engineering and computer engineering.
Therefore, it is necessary for students to acquire an in-depth knowledge of all the basic circuits, such as amplifiers, oscillators, filters, converters, and then to test their knowledge through simple, but important applications in the field of process control and PID techniques.
The products described in this section give students all that is needed to start their first steps in this fascinating world of Electronics.
Linear circuits, digital circuits, logic gates, significant applications coming from the real industrial world, all explained in a simple, gradual way through a combination of theory and experiments.
De Lorenzo offers two different versions, one that consists of closed panels, of very robust construction and clear serigraphy on the front, and another one composed of open boards with components at sight and provided with CAI software.

Products Details

Electronics is the discipline that studies how to process signals containing information or other kinds. Two types of signals can be distinguished: digital and analog. One can thus say that the electronics are divided into two parts: digital electronics and analog electronics. For this category of panel type, all the printed circuit boards are enclosed inside with the standardized block circuit diagrams silk-screened on the front panel and the terminals accessible to carry out the measures and controls on the circuits under test.

This system covers discrete and integrated components linear circuits, digital circuits and applications such as motor control, PID control, switching power supplies, power electronics, etc. complete with the necessary power supplies. It is recommended for high schools.

For this laboratory and given the continuous evolution of this discipline, De Lorenzo has developed another system, consisting of about 60 boards but always increasing, called TIME (Trainer for Interactive Multipurpose Electronics).

This system includes almost all the topics of the panel system and many others. The boards are completely open meaning that the final user has under his hands everything from printed circuit, devices, block diagrams to the terminals.

A fault simulator, for troubleshooting, is provided in almost all of them and they can be interfaced to personal computer through a CAI software. The topics covered are: Electricity & Electromagnetism, DC and AC circuits, Electronic devices, Amplification, Filters, Digital electronics, Regulations & Controls, Telecommunications, Fiber Optics, etc. It is complete with power supplies with or without interface to PC and virtual instrumentation. It is recommended for high schools and first years of university.
